This Coleslaw is like none other. It reigns supreme. It has that perfect crunch from the cabbage and delicate warmth from the Golden Sauce that just makes this different, bold and exciting. It has become a staple in our refrigerator, great alone or try it on my favorite Sandwich the Rueben.
Tortured Orchard Golden Sauce – 2 Tbsp to 1/4 Cup (depends on how wet and how hot you want the slaw)
Red Cabbage – 1/4 head finely shredded
Green Cabbage – 1/4 head finely shredded
Onion – 1 Medium
Carrot – 2 Small or 1 Large
Rice Wine Vinegar – 1/4 Cup
Light Mayonnaise to taste ( Light Sour Cream can also be used)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Food Processor or Sharp Knife
*Use your Cutting board to thinly slice your Cabbage, Cleaned Onion and Carrot or simply with the shredding blade use your Food Processor.
* Combine all Ingredients in your mixing bowl and enjoy.
Note: This recipe I think tastes even better the NEXT day, so don’t be afraid to allow it to marinate. This slaw makes the most amazing Rueben… with either Corned Beef or Turkey Pastrami.
