How often do get to stand alone, and inhale long, deep breaths? When you do get to do this, how often do you enjoy what you smell? Haha. I am lucky. I live a quality life in the middle of the Country. Granted I am just a hop, skip and a jump away from the hustle and bustle of three major cities, I feel quite spoiled to be taking a stab at the entrepreneurial thing, surrounded by natural beauty and all the fresh air I want, included. The smell of the fall air make me so happy. I love the crispness and scent that blows through the air, the sound of the blowing trees, and the crunch of newly fallen random leaves under my feet. It renews and rejuvenates and for sure inspires.
At each farmers market I go to, or demo I do I am always encouraging people to check out our recipe suggestions not only on the sheet we provide but on our website. I want people to understand that our products are NOT scary, and they are so capable of making great food. Many of our recipes are as simple as opening the jar and adding two to three other ingredients and assembling. Some are as simple as opening the jar, grabbing a utensil and eating. I am unsure of exact numbers as to how many actually look, or if any ever do, but as a die hard Foodie, and designated Chef I try and keep the foods I have laying around some what nutritional and most def. Seasonal. It’s fun. Yesterday was dedicated to some seasonal treats made with Tortured Orchard. These are recipes we have had, and I have used, but It was a matter of finding the time to get into the kitchen, making them, working out any kinks, and taking pictures.
